Hello Sophie, the Avon transfers do look great but I suspect you would need to use them on cleansed eyelids, which might take more time in the long run, they are certainly worth a try before hand though :o)
Personally if rushed for time and going from work to the Christmas party I would dust over my eyelids with a more glittery or sparkly version of my day colour and then use a darker more glamourous lipstick that has staying power to last through the evening.
Of course no Christmas party lady should be without soft, shimmery and kissable skin so I would use an Urban Decay lickable shimmery body balm or glittery lickable body dust as the finishing touch on shoulders and décolletage!
